Mosaic Embryo Review
A thorough review of the PGT-A (PGS) results from your IVF cycle(s), focusing on mosaic results. We’ll start with an overview of mosaicism in embryos, go over current research data in a way that’s easy to understand, and talk about your embryos in detail. The decision to transfer a mosaic embryo can be complicated and emotional. We’ll help you balance your heart and your head to come to the best decision for your family.
Donor Genetic Assessment
An assessment of at least three generations of a sperm, egg, or embryo donor’s family history. We will speak to the donor directly, review any necessary medical records, and make recommendations for further genetic testing.
PGT Result Review
A in depth review of your preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A, PGT-M, or PGT-SR) results. We’ll start with an overview of how PGT is performed to gain an understanding of the test’s purpose and limitations. Then we’ll look at your PGT report in detail and discuss the result for each embryo. We’ll also discuss the PGT lab used, as this can make a difference in how results are reported.
Pre-PGT Consult
If you’re getting ready for IVF and considering Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A, PGT-M, or PGT-SR) as part of your cycle, there is a lot to think about. We’ll walk you through the things you should consider before adding PGT to your IVF cycle. We’ll answer your questions about PGT labs, testing accuracy, risks, result types, and more!
Preconception Genetic Counselling
A thorough genetic counselling appointment for anyone planning to grow their family. We’ll review any relevant family history information and discuss any risks that are identified. We’ll talk about genetic tests available prior to, and during pregnancy. If you’ve been struggling to conceive, or experienced pregnancy loss we can review any genetic tests ordered or recommended by your doctor.
Donor Match Consultation
For intended parents. We’ll review any risks identified in your donor’s genetic assessment. We will also review family history information for the other reproductive partner (i.e. intended parent, other donor, etc.) and discuss any genetic testing options.
Donor Selection Consultation
Learn what you need to know when it comes to genetics and selecting your frozen donor sperm or donor eggs from a bank. We’ll review any relevant family history information, review the genetic screening donors undergo, and discuss any genetic testing available to help select a donor.
