50-60% of pregnancy losses that occur in the first trimester are caused by random chromosome errors that can be detected by genetic testing performed on the miscarried tissue. Medically this is referred to as Products of Conception (POC) testing. DNAide, in partnership with Femade is aiming to increase access to this testing for patients in Ontario who can’t access it via OHIP.
